Japanese stab bound booklets Please specify the color when ordering. The price is for each booklet. Japanese stab bound books developed over hundreds of years. Traditionally, the pages are of rice or washi paper, folded in half at the fore edge to strengthen the page. The books are sewn together by decorative stitching at the spine. Most are not embellished in any way, but I have added beads. The black/gold and lilac/gold stab bound booklets have tan text papers. The green has rice paper with some of my Chinese brush painting practice sheets folded in the traditional style. The ink will not intrude upon your own writing.
